The London Breast Clinic held another well attended symposium of diagnostic dillemmas in benign and malignant breast disease. I gave a presentation entitled "Diagnostic and treatment dilemmas in breast disease: boundaries between benign and malignant breast lumps". This was principally and introduction to my research by illustrating two very different case presentations of papillomas of the breast - a benign diagnosis, but a risk factor for breast cancer and if left can develop into cancer over time.
